General Conference is one of our favorite times of year! We love the time we get to spend together as a family doing quiet activities as we listen to our leaders! This year I created a new General Conference Activity Journal Page that I am really excited to use this April!
With all the craziness in the world right now, it’s so comforting to know we get to listen to our prophet in a few weeks!
I wanted to create a way that I could journal about all the different things about conference. What I hear, how I feel and what I want to do to implement the message from the talk!
And with this new General Conference Activity Journal Page, it does just that!
If you have never listening to General Conference before, I invite you to tune in here. And hope you will be uplifted and to feel the love of Heavenly Father in your life.
Journal Page for Kids!
This kid friendly version has the option to color or write in the things that they want as the listen. It also has a fun additional section about what they see at conference! Where they can draw a portrait of the speaker, or draw about what color tie they are wearing!
It would be fun to keep track of all the different colored ties that the speakers wear. And to compare see what color is worn the most!
Because of the different sections being different shapes, your pre-readers will be able to easily identify what they’re supposed to do in each section!
I want this journal page for kids to help them identify how they feel during conference. And to help them realize that hearing isn’t the only reason we listen to conference! But listening to the Spirit invite to follow and DO what the speaker has asked.
Sounds to me a lot like the youth theme from Nephi this year, I will go and DO!
Journal Pages for Youth and Adults!
I would be lying if I said I only made this journal page for kids and youth. In all actuality, I made it for me! I wanted to be able to have a very visual way that I could take notes for conference. Where I could write what I felt and how I would act and easily be able to review them after conference!
This format will make it easy to flip through and identify what I want to work on after conference!
And be able to really look back on how I felt as I listened to the messages.
This journal page is a great way for youth to start developing their testimony. And the feelings they have when the prophet and apostles speak to them.
As youth think of the messages they hear, this conference journal sheet will help them reflect.. And as a result choose to GO and DO what the Lord commands
I have always loved General Conference and looked forward to when we get to listen and be uplifted! I hope as you use this fun new journaling page with your family, you will all be enriched as you listen to conference.
And as you look back on your notes after conference, that you will easily be able to identify the feelings, impressions and actions you want to take!

Thank you for making and sharing this journal page. I was looking for something to help my kids take notes that wasn’t overwhelming. I think it will help them learn how to take notes in the future too. Thank you!!
