We are gearing up for Thanksgiving at our home and I wanted the kids to have a way to focus on being grateful. So I drew up this turkey and created a Gratitude Coloring Page for kids.

We have already spent the morning coloring and talking about the things we are grateful for. It was a fun way to help my kids think about all the blessings they really have. And they enjoyed coloring their turkeys as well! I think we will display them somewhere for the remainder of the month as a good reminder!

Thanksgiving Gratitude for Kids!

If you’re looking for a fun Thanksgiving idea for kids this is it! I put a couple of snacks on the table, markers and the turkeys and my kids were thrilled to get to color!

For my six year old he had a hard time figuring out what he is grateful for at first. I asked him what he would be sad if he didn’t have, and then he thought of the cutest things. It was a good exercise for him to have to think about the little things he takes for granted every day. It was good for all of us!

Whether you use during the month of November or share with the kids at Thanksgiving dinner, being grateful is such a valuable skill for kids to learn! I have seen the powerful influence of gratitude in my life. And I know that if I can teach my kids to be grateful, they’ll always feel like they have enough!
