Well summer is well underway with almost a month of it under our belts! It has been super hot here, but we are doing everything we can to soak up the sun. One of those things includes heading up to our cabin to enjoy some fresh mountain air and a break from normal life! And since my kids are insistent on packing their own bags, it was time to create a vacation packing list!
This way they (hopefully!) get everything they need and I can just hand them the list! I don’t know about your kids, but mine love any opportunity to pull out their rolling suitcases and pack them!
So even when we are heading somewhere that a duffel bag would work (and probably be easier) there we are rolling our bags out to the car!
This vacation packing list was created to be super simple, and easy for kids to know how many of each item they need. There is even an other section for things specific to your vacation that they may need!
Easy and fun!
Simply download the Vacation Packing list below, and print. Then fill out the number of each of the items that they will need. And the rest is up to them!
Hand them the list and let them get to work. I usually have my kids put everything on their bed and I check it prior to putting it into the suitcases. That way we don’t end up with more or less and what we actually need! Because those suitcases fill up surprisingly fast!
Don’t forget to print off our summer bucket list and add your trip to it! Or fill out items you want to do while on your trip!
Wherever you are headed this summer, I hope you have a safe and enjoyable vacation! And that this simple packing list helps take off any stress that naturally comes from traveling with kids!
Happy traveling!
This printable is made from one of my newest fonts “Better Days Ahead.” If you love it and want to use it for all your projects you can download it here.
