I feel like summer usually escapes from us so fast, and before I know if they’re headed back to school. Since this year was totally different with school being from home, I am excited to actually go do all our summer things! So to make sure we get it all in this summer, I created this fun summer bucket list!
We sat down with our kids and asked them what they wanted to do the most this summer, and surprisingly it was swimming in the pool in the back! We had to give them some other ideas but once we starting throwing ideas out they caught on real fast!
So I hope your family enjoys this summer bucket list and can get all your summer favorites in this year!

Summer Traditions
There are a few tradition summer traditions we have every year! And I’m not sure which of these we will really be able to do this year since some things still aren’t opened!
But for the sake of tradition we wrote them on our bucket list for the summer! With the understanding that we may have to improvise if things didn’t go quite as planned.
I’m really hoping we get to do our extended family camping trip, our visit to the amusement park, and some fun swimming adventures!
We will just have to see how thing open up with the pandemic, and hope everything will be safe to go do!
Check off the bucket list!
There are a few fun ways to use this bucket list. The first is to create the list as a family with everyone giving suggestions for what they want to do. This is the option we went with! Then to easily keep track of the things we had done we put it in a picture frame and checked it off with an expo marker.
This made it super simple to see what we want to still do, and we can keep it for next year if we want!
You could even write the items on your Summer Bucket list on the picture frame so that you can just erase and use for next summer with new items!
Another way you can use these is to print out multiple and let your kids each fill out their own! And then let them keep track of the things they have done!
Fun Summer Ahead
While the last few months have looked very different, I think summer may end up looking different too! But we aren’t going to let that stop us from making the best of the summer and having a good time!
Even if it ends up that we only get to swim in the pool out back, it sounds like the kids will be content with that!
I hope you have an awesome summer doing whatever is on your bucket list!
