Well I will say, it’s crazy to stay home all day trapped in your house with your little people. Days seems to drag on, and I love any opportunity I can find to get outdoors and get the kids out of the house. So I created a fun neighborhood scavenger hunt for kids to help us get out of the house and do something fun!
So if you need to get your little ones out of the house and get some exercise head out on a walk and try out this neighborhood scavenger hunt for kids!
This scavenger hunt was created using one of my new fonts Hallaway! You can find it in my fonts right here!
Neighborhood Scavenger Hunt
The idea of this scavenger hunt is super simple. Find as many items on the list as possible, and check them off as you find them!
Play as individuals with some friendly competition. Or play together as a team!
Whether you want to walk, ride bikes or drive around the neighborhood it’s a great way to get out of the house, while still staying safe!
There are lots of different items on the scavenger hunt that will be fun to look for! Some are easy to find, and others may be trickier depending on your neighborhood! Try to find them all and then go back home for a fun little treat!

We had so much fun as we went on our neighborhood scavenger hunt! We already have lots of competition between our two oldest so we decided to do the scavenger hunt as a team. But to add another fun element we challenged another family to also work as a team. We hit up different areas in the neighborhood and had a time limit.
At the end of the time limit we met up and saw who got the most!
It was a huge hit! We were able to find most of the things on our list and our time limit was 20 minutes! Making for a great break out of the house, and a super fun scavenger hunt for kids! While also adding in a little social element without being too close to one another!
I’d love to hear how your scavenger hunt goes! Tag me on instagram @affinitygrove and share!
Enjoy!
