These are my gift picks for a gift for a 5 year old girl. Below you will find links to all of the items as well as a description of what why love it!

Why We Love Them:
Rainbow Scratch Paper is super fun! It is pretty much a thing wax type substance on top of rainbow paper. It comes with little sticks that you use to scratch off the wax and reveal the rainbow underneath!
They are so fun to be creative with and scratch our designs! My daughter scratched through almost a whole book she enjoyed it so much!

Why We Love It:
It’s a huge plunge to let your daughter start painting her own nails because then it never ends! But with these kids nail polish sets the polish doesn’t seem to be as permanent and comes off lots easier!
But my daughter gets to have her independence and paint her nails on her own! She loves to do three different colors on one nail and the paints all mix and I don’t care because it’s all hers!
Just make sure you set clear rules for where you want her to paint her nails so her bedroom carpet doesn’t turn rainbow! 🙂
Why We Love Them:
Fancy Nancy books are some of our favorites! We have the set above among others and we love them all.
They’re about this cute girl Nancy who loves everything fancy and beautiful. The author does a great job of capturing how dramatic and sweet little girls can be.
We have moved on to the fancy Nancy chapter books and love them just as much too!
Why We Love Them:
I remember playing with Polly Pockets as a kid so maybe that’s why I am partial to them. But I was excited when they started producing them again because they’re adorable.
I was equally as glad that my daughter felt the same way. She loves that Polly and her friends are miniature, as well as everything in the pocket.
They are especially convenient to take on airplanes or car rides. They have lots of different sets, so you can mix and match the pieces once you have various pockets!
Why We Love Them:
I love letting my kids explore with various things they can create with! And my daughter was beyond thrilled when she got her very own art set!
I like that these fold up and the mess of everything is all inside. And everything has a place it’s supposed to go, so it’s easy to tell if something is missing!
These come in super basic and more comprehensive, but all of them make a great gift for a 5 year old girl.
Why We Love Them:
The first time I saw Shopkins I thought they would never get played with! But my daughter loved collecting them and to my surprise even playing with them.
They make a cute shopkin house, and people! So there are lots of options of what you can get to go along with the Shopkins!
Shopkins are just cute little food or objects from your home with little faces and each has a name. There are books and movies and stories about all of them, which really makes them come to life!
Why We Love Them:
These are just like the Lite Brite you had when you were a kid, only they’re SO much easier to get the pegs in and out!
My kids spend Christmas afternoon playing with the Lite Brite and creating different things.
You can buy refill sets of the pictures to create or your kids can create something on their own! They’re small enough too that they store really easily!
Why We Love Them:
This Pretty Pretty Princess game is so fun and a great gift for a 5 year old girl! In the game you try to collect all of the things a princess needs to wear and includes all the jewelry!
It’s so fun, and the girls love to dress up while they’re playing. And it is especially enjoyable to watch your husband play it with you daughter!
Why We Love Them:
We love these 18″ Dolls! Yes you can spend a lot of money and buy an actual American Doll, but I have found that for a 5 year old the knock off brands work just as well without the huge investment!
My daughter loves to get outfits that match her dolls and wear the same things with them!
She is darling with her dolls, and loves to play with them. She tucks them in bed and gets them dressed in the morning. I love that it teaches her a little bit of responsibility to take care of something!
Why We Love Them:
By the time they’re 5 they have likely managed to have enough balance to figure out a scooter!
We love the ones with light up wheels so they’re a little more visible while riding! My daughter was so excited to finally get a 2 wheeled scooter and loves riding it around the neighborhood or to nearby friends homes!
